OVERVIEW

Eastern Data is seeking a full-time, enthusiastic System Engineer to join our team who can successfully support and troubleshoot Microsoft PCs, servers, and network environments.  The successful candidate for this role will possess a deep understanding of networks and Windows technologies, strong communication skills at a variety of customer levels, a willingness to work as a team, and a desire to develop their existing technical skills ongoing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain positive client relationships through timely response, service that meets their needs, and candid feedback on issues and recommendations.
• Install, configure, update, and maintain network and server systems for our small to medium  client environments
• Participate in the design and planning of systems infrastructure, and support implementation of the design accordingly.
• Contribute to the development of sales quotes for hardware and software solutions that meet client requirements and needs.
• Contribute to the presentation of proposed solutions to clients that result in an agreement to proceed.
• Assist Account Executives on pre-sales client visits and activities, and support the development of solution configuration and scope of work.
• Support technical project implementations, performing appropriate network and system activities and coordinating technical activities with other engineer and technician team members.
• Provide appropriate communication and status updates to client management and the internal management team.
• Perform Tier1 and Tier 2 problem management, isolation, and resolution.
• Remediate failed hardware, application, and operating system issues; work with vendors to isolate, follow up, and resolve as required.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and fault issues (CPU, memory, ports, disk space, etc.) and takes appropriate action to report and resolve.  Recommend resolution options in accordance with fault, performance, or capacity-related items.
• Perform, refine, and document preventative maintenance activities on client systems.
• Maintain user and system account accuracy via MS Active Directory.
• Provide 24 x 7 support for client emergency issues resolution as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MCSE Certification is a requirement.  MCITP and MCITP are a plus
• Applicable 2-year or 4-year degree or equivalent years of technical experience
• 3-5 years of experience in a Network Administrator, Network Engineer or Systems Engineer role.
• Solid understanding of Windows, servers, switches, routers, hubs, firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP UDP
• Understanding of medical practice operations, HIPAA, and EMRs is a plus.

HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS ENGINEER

OVERVIEW

We are looking for a full-time, enthusiastic System Engineer to join our team who can successfully design, implement, administer, support and trouble shoot Microsoft servers, VMware virtualization, and Cisco environments. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Hardware and network installation, configuration, maintenance, issues resolution, and upgrade activities,

SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Eastern Data, Inc. is seeking a senior-level Systems Engineer with experience deploying complex systems and network solutions in an enterprise environment. The Senior Engineer will utilize extensive technical knowledge and skills to provide overall technical leadership, support our clients, and coach and develop our systems engineers. JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Strong technical experience with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, & Group Policy

HELP DESK SUPERVISOR

Eastern Data is seeking a Help Desk Supervisor to provide direct oversight of the help desk team’s day-to-day activities and overall help desk processes.  The Help Desk Supervisor is also responsible for providing technical assistance to team members, ensuring service and support is delivered to customers at agreed service levels and nurturing client relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand and champion the help desk mission and work with team members to achieve supporting objectives.
• Manage the help desk team’s daily activities.
• Performs in a level 1, team member capacity as required to ensure team goals and metrics are achieved.

Eastern Data, Inc. is seeking an experienced Account Executive responsible for selling technology solutions, managed service agreements, and professional services to new clients.  The Account Executive facilitates the sales of medium to large technology solutions, managed service agreements, and network engineer professional services.  The successful candidate will demonstrate large opportunity selling and business building skills to successfully promote and closes the sale of Eastern Data IT solutions and services to achieve or exceed sales plans and objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consistently achieve or exceed sales plans and targets by maintaining existing business, developing incremental business in existing accounts, working independently to grow new business, and drive growth at assigned industry and technology programs.
